I always dig seeing fellow DAer's roughs, but don't post much myself, so I'm throwing this up.
My wife and I aren't big American Idol fans -until this season. We find ourselves lamenting: "Why didn't Amanda sing Helter Skelter?" and feeling for little Ramiele when she got the boot: "Ahhww she's like a puppy left out in the rain" There isn't a dud in the bunch this round. Michael Johns and Carly Smithson are great, and I even gotta admit that Archuleta kid's got chops -now that he finally stopped licking his lips. But David Cook is the Man. He's smart and bold, with a bad hairdo and a bazooka powered voice, he makes songs his own, rather than doing pale imitations of the original arrangements. He'll go far.
Yeah, I'm a sick AI watcher too...and this guy's got my vote. (Even thought I don't call; I'm too old for silly fandom!) Hope the hand is better. I love cats; I have one who's about as smart as a box of hair. But their bites ARE worse than their, er, barks? Mewls? Caterwauls? In closing...cool sketch! Bad hair and all.........
woo! david cook FTW! although i adore David A., and like paula once said, i wanna hang him from my rear view mirror...and carly has an in-cred-ible voice...cook just has such imagination and strength.
this is great, I have never watched Idol until this season. I think cook will be the one without a doubt, I also think he would make a damn fine producer with how cleverly he structures his covers.

I love David Cook, but I heard that he usually just picks arrangements done by more recent artists than the original. I think his voice is what sells the arrangement though.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
